IOU on giraffes, April 98

Okay, this is another one page wonder with only 1 pic. Its me on a giraffe, just to show I can do it ! I was amazed that I could do it, just get on it and go after having learnt just to ride a standard 24" uni. It was a most enjoyable experience, I just got on and went. The getting on was the hard part, with various friends to keep my legs and butt in the right place. Then I rode off in uncontrollable fits of laughter. This is Paul's, I now hope to own my own one day. They are fun things and impress the hell out of most people.

	Me on a giraffe unicycle

One day I would like my own giraffe unicycle, I plan to learn to weld, however until then, I might just have to buy one. In the UK you can buy the DM model at around 300UKP, sturdy and strong and it ain't gonna bend with two chains either side - this is what I'm riding here. Alternatively in the states there's miyata's SkyCycle, which is around 300USD. And if you're lucky you could pick up some unbranded second hand thingy at a decent price.

Tall stuff, take me back to the small stuff.
